Overnight trading is spreading.
One weekend edge may not survive it.

There’s a ticking clock running on one of the last real edges regular traders have left.

Legendary trader Tim Sykes, creator of over 50 millionaire students, has quietly used it for years.

But he’s warning that it disappears the day Wall Street stops going home for weekends.

And that day is coming faster than most people think.

Overnight trading is already spreading. The exchanges are racing to open 24 hours a day.

Tim says this may be the last year regular people can use this strategy.

Chips are dragging the Nasdaq this morning while small caps hold green. SPY −0.30%, QQQ −1.19%, IWM +0.22% premarket (~07:25 ET), after Wednesday’s hot-CPI selloff (SPY −1.08%, QQQ −1.97%). TLT +1.4%.

THE HEADLINE THAT MATTERS TODAY

TSMC raised its sales outlook and still got sold, because the 2-nanometer ramp is costing it margin.

MT Newswires via QuoteMedia · Oct 15, 2026 06:53 ET. “Taiwan Semiconductor Sees Sequential Fourth-Quarter Gross Margin Decline; Issues Upbeat Revenue Outlook”

TSMC guided fourth-quarter revenue to $52.3B–$54.3B, above the $50.22B FactSet consensus, and now sees 2026 sales up about 44%. Gross margin guided to 65%–67% after 66.4% in Q3. The CFO blamed the 2-nanometer ramp and overseas fabs, and CEO C.C. Wei said TSMC is being “prudent” planning for 2027. TSM −2.3% near $420 premarket after a 3.4% drop Wednesday.

Who’s exposed: the AI chip trade that broke Wednesday. Micron −4.4%, Nvidia −1.6% and SMH −2.4% premarket. Needham raised its TSM target to $560 from $530 (The Fly).

Next: PPI, retail sales and jobless claims printed at 8:30 AM ET, before this email landed, the first test of Wednesday’s hot CPI in producer prices. Schwab, BNY, PNC and U.S. Bancorp report before the bell.

Wrong if: TSM gets back above Wednesday’s $430 close in the first hour. That would say the margin dip was already priced.
