Tim Sykes here.
Last month I set a target for a trade at 10 to 20 percent.
The trade paid 121 percent. Six times what I predicted.
I didn't get lucky. I've done this over and over.
The opportunity I've been quietly using is so wide that even conservative targets get blown out of the water.
And it doesn't require watching a screen all day. It doesn't require quitting your job. It doesn't require special software.
What it does require is knowing where to look, and when.

The 10-year is climbing toward 4.70% and the indexes are red. Bond futures are higher. Walmart slumped after the Q2 print. SPY is 763.87, down 0.67%. QQQ is 709.51, down 0.92%. DIA is 528.38, down 1.10%. IWM is 297.45, down 1.42%. This is not yesterday's buyback-cap tape. These are afternoon prints around 1:06 p.m. CT, not the close.
Underneath, the percent board is a squeeze list. Four of the five have no dated company PR today. Yesterday's mRNA cluster is gone. BTCT is the only name with a real story, and it is already up 97%. 👇

📈 TODAY'S TOP 5 GAINERS
1 · BTCT
+97.2%
$1.65 on 129.1 million shares. Crypto-linked tape plus an AI-compute pivot: Wei Sun named Chief AI Business Growth Officer. Quiver Quant cites Bitcoin above $71k and Georgia AI-infra. That is the only dated story on this board.
|
2 · PCLA
+60.6%
$10.28 on 1.8 million shares. No company-specific QuoteMedia headline in the last three days. High-volume momentum into the 1 p.m. CT hour (9.14 to 9.69 to 10.28 on the 5-minute). Noise.
|
3 · JZ
+52.6%
$2.60 on 33.6 million shares. No fresh PR. Last QuoteMedia item was the Aug 18 52-week low. High-volume bounce from 1.70. Noise.
|
4 · BRLS
+49.1%
$1.36 on 23.6 million shares. No company PR in the last three days. Squeeze from 0.91 prior through $1. Latest QuoteMedia item is an NT 10-Q late file on Aug 14. Noise.
|
5 · WETO
+41.2%
$29.31 on 3.9 million shares. Continuation bounce in the Orchestra Physical AI / wearable-robotics tape after Wednesday's ~37% drop (prior 20.76 vs 33.00 on Aug 18). No new QuoteMedia story today. Leftover.

🎯 THE SIGNAL
The session is rates and Walmart. The gainer board is percent, not news. BTCT has a named AI officer and a Bitcoin tape. PCLA, JZ, and BRLS have no dated PR. WETO is Wednesday's bounce coming back. If you only sort by percent, you buy the leftover. The index tape is the 10-year and a WMT miss, not this list.

Norway's $2 trillion fund chief just called this market abnormal. Meanwhile Riot locked 191 megawatts of data-center capacity to Anthropic in a 20-year, $9.1 billion deal. Alexander Green at The Oxford Club says the crowded Nvidia/Apple pile is the trap, and he found a publicly traded vehicle whose largest holding is Anthropic. Same backdoor idea as SpaceX, before the IPO scramble. Learn about the ticker before the trade gets crowded.

📊 THE HEADLINE THAT MATTERED
"Markets Move Lower As Bond Futures Edge Higher"
SeekingAlpha via QuoteMedia, 11:28 a.m. ET, August 20, 2026 (10:28 a.m. CT).
The midday wrap at 12:00 p.m. ET named Walmart tumbling and jobless claims dropping. That is the session. The 97% name is not.

👀 ONE TO WATCH TOMORROW
🛒 BJ's Wholesale
(BJ)
Q2 FY2026 before the open Friday, August 21. Call at 8:00 a.m. ET (Business Wire / StockTitan).
Why it's the watch: Walmart already printed today and slumped. BJ is the next warehouse-club read. Not today's winner.
Listen for: U.S. comps and whether membership holds after the WMT miss. Let the 8 a.m. ET call print first.
