Could one stock carry an entire nest egg?
One former tech executive says Elon Musk could set it in motion by Nov. 11.

Jeff Brown, a former tech executive, picked Nvidia back in 2016, years before AI became the trade everyone wanted. Now he says he has found his next one-stock opportunity.

It isn’t Tesla or SpaceX. It’s a little-known company with patented technology that Brown says can produce intelligence up to 1,000 times faster than regular AI.

Brown expects Musk to speed up the AI race by November 11, pulling in demand for that technology. Wall Street projects the company’s sales will triple in 2027. Brown lays out the full case here.

Futures are mixed on Fed day, with Alphabet and Microsoft reporting after the close. SPY is up 0.15% and QQQ 0.38%, while IWM is down 0.15% (~07:30 ET). Alphabet is up 1.2% and Nvidia 0.8%, but Microsoft is off 0.4%.

THE HEADLINE THAT MATTERS TODAY

Ultralife is up 144% before the bell on a $16 cash buyout. It trades about 45 cents under that price.

Business Wire via QuoteMedia · Oct 27, 2026 16:31 ET. “EnerSys To Acquire Ultralife”

EnerSys (ENS) agreed to buy Ultralife (ULBI) for $16.00 a share in cash, a 166% premium to Monday’s unaffected close. The deal carries an enterprise value of about $320 million. Ultralife makes batteries for military radios and other defense gear. EnerSys is targeting drone and counter-drone demand and expects $15 million to $20 million in yearly cost savings within 18 months.

Who’s exposed: Anyone paying $15.55 for ULBI. The remaining 45 cents only arrives if the deal closes. EnerSys holders look comfortable, with ENS up 2.8% before the bell.

Next: EnerSys filed its tender offer with the SEC at 7:00 ET. Watch the expiration date and any regulatory review.

Wrong if: ULBI slides well under $15.50 with no news. A wider gap means traders are pricing a delay or a broken deal.
